Salem Presbyterian - Family Land Church

Legend says that this church and the area surrounding it were where a man killed his wife and daughter during the turn of the century, burying them nearby. He later committed suicide, and his apparition has been spotted on the property. The sounds of screams have also been reported, believed to be those of his wife and daughter. Another story involves that of an apparition of a Native American woman who has been spotted wandering along the side of the road before disappearing at the spot where her house used to be. It has been said that she will have conversations with the living as she walks, but when she reaches the spot, she suddently vanishes into her "house." Voices and apparitions have also been reported in the church cemetery.
