Tyrrell Hall - University of Tulsa
Tulsa, OK 74104
Located in the center of the University, Tyrrell Hall is one of the three original buildings on the campus. The university was established in 1894 and the hall housed the its school of music until recently. The building has a basement, ground floor and two upper floors, of which every room (with the exception of the southern half of the basement rooms) has a window to the outside. This makes it easy to see from the outside after dark if any of the rooms have their lights on. Many students have reported hearing a piano playing on one of the upper floors late at night and it's most commonly heard in the stairwell in the center of the building between the ground floor and basement. Whenever someone went up the stairs to check on the noise, the piano would stop playing before they made it all the way up.
