This restaurant and former hotel dates bak to 1910 and is rumored to be haunted by a horde of spirits. They include that of a young girl who likes to play in the upstairs hall, a prostitute with brown hair who appears on the staircase, and the apparition of a swing musician, Bob Wills. There may also be a poltergeist lingering in the dining room bar, where glasses have been known to stack themselves after being cleaned.

Rec and grandma leath was my great grandparents. I lived there growing up the woman on the staircase was not a prostitute. That was one mistake they made. We called her aunt sara she was peaceful. The little girl in the hall is peaceful don't talk about her its fine. The guy at the bottom don't mess with him. The biggest mistake the new owners made was gutting it and redoing everything. Doing that you woke up the dormant ones. The third floor that was the poker area. Noone should have woke the ones up there up. That floor you could just feel the negitive energy. All the women in my family have the gift to see and to feel spirits. All the years I lived there nothing ever tryedbto hurt me. I would actually talk to them when they would try to cummuacate. Just leave them alone let them rest

So, something I don't share about myself EVER, is that I've been able to see demons and what look like ghosts since I was 10. I am a Christian and consider it a spiritual gift, and the Bible names the ability to distinguish between spirits a spiritual gift. I've seen a lot in my time, and this restaurant is by far the most spiritually active and spiritually dangerous place I've ever been. I took my 2 small boys to Medicine Park to swim and had NEVER heard of the haunting at the restaurant. It wasn't until we approached the parlor next door for ice cream that I felt a pressure on my body and someone, or something is a better way to say it, watching me. I always know when spirits are around and I always know where they are. I was shocked at how strong the presence was because I was outside the building and normally I have to be at a building's threshold before I feel something. I looked up to the top 2 floors of the restaurant and was shocked. I saw multiple women in spirit, and some children. I knew (please don't ask me how because I've never known how I know) that they were prostitutes and the children were illegitimate. I also knew that women had been murdered there, at some point. I just felt the presence of murder. Maybe it wasn't women specifically being murdered, but it was murder all the same. I felt a lot of evil from those top floors, like a lot of very sadistic stuff had gone on in that place. I wouldn't even go inside the building. Let it be known that I don't believe ghosts exist but that they are demons disguised as ghosts to lure people into searching them out. Every thing about demons is evil and tricky and malicious. This place has had some bad, bad things go on inside it in its history. But if you're looking for a touch of the paranormal, I guess this would be your place. Make sure you pray before you go in. The spiritual presence there is profound and very, very scary.
